Our Beliefs
Mechnano knows that the right changes at the nano level bring exponential improvements at the macro level.
We focus on the little things, and we’re not just talking about carbon nanotubes that are 10,000x smaller than a human hair. Our team places great value on our everyday interactions, always bringing integrity and dedication to the table. The little things are at the heart of what we do. It’s how we’re changing the world.
We’re greater than the sum of our parts. Combining our team members’ difference in experience, opinion and perspective leads to exponential results. This goes for our partnerships, as well.
We believe there is an abundance of goodness in the world, and we each have a personal responsibility to give back. We show this by recycling, listening to our team members and partners, being inclusive, mentoring, serving in our communities, being empathetic to difficulties and trials and in any other thing we do to uplift each other.
The Mechnano Story
Founded by Scott Gillette and Steven Lowder, Mechnano is an Arizona-based startup of scientists and entrepreneurs who have spent the past several years applying proprietary CNT technology to AM polymers. We are the first company to fabricate parts with CNTs using material jetting and vat photopolymerization systems, where we improved impact, tear resistance, tensile performance, and achieved ESD.
Our technology is backed by over a decade of research and development and over 130 issued and pending patents. We are dedicated to exponentially improving AM materials, and bringing to light the real benefits of CNTs across a wide range of materials properties and additive manufacturing processes.
Mechnano’s Partnership with Arizona State University
Mechnano’s advanced technology lab is at the Arizona State University Polytechnic campus as part of the ASU Polytechnic Innovation District. Mechnano’s collaboration with ASU provides a unique learning experience, helping train students on best practices for lab work, data recording and scientific processes.
